Distributor's Notes
Named in honor of our co-founder's bike trip through Europe, Fat Tire Amber Ale marks a turning point in the young electrical engineer's home brewing. Belgian beers use a far broader palette of ingredients (fruits, spices, esoteric yeast strains) than German or English styles. Together with co-founder Kim Jordan, they traveled around sampling their homebrews to the public. Fat Tire won fans with its sense of balance: toasty, biscuit-like malt flavors coasting in equilibrium with hoppy freshness. Fat Tire: Pairs well with people. Alcohol Content: 5.2% Calories: 160

Producer Description
New Belgium strives to be a role model for other businesses in its impact on the communities we serve and the planet itself. We are a certified B-Corp and have been a leading force in improving environmental standards in brewing. We do one thing – make great beer – and we do it with pride. We believe in the true idea of craft, a set of skills honed over time. Quality and craftsmanship demand expert workers who feel passionate about what they make. That’s who we are and what we always aim to be. It's been nearly 30 years since a social worker and a homebrewer took the first steps in building New Belgium, a brewery that helped fuel the rise of craft beer. How'd it happen? Let's take a trip.
